Comberero Ready-Mix (“Comberero”) is a 100% South African Black-owned company that was established to provide concrete pumping, placing and floating services. The company started its operations in March 2014 with a team of five employees. It acquired a 32-metre Putzmeister boom concrete pump and rendered services to construction companies and ready-mix suppliers in the Gauteng and surrounding areas.

The entity has successfully concluded projects such as the Menlyn Shopping Centre Expansion for Murray and Roberts as well as the Rea Vaya Bridge in Malboro for WBHO.

Construction Services– Ready-Mix Concrete, Raubex Building.

The SP Impact Fund provided funding to support Comberero on a purchase order issued by Raubex Building, where it was supplying 3000 m3 / 20 MPA ready-mix concrete. The financial support from SP Impact Fund enabled cash flow relief and played a critical role in enabling Comberero’s timely production and delivery. SP Impact Fund provided purchase order funding valued at R 2,3 m. Through this funding, Comberero was able to retain its permanent employees (60 long term jobs) and short-term employees of 30 contract staff members.
