Our Partners In Focus

Concor Construction

Concor Construction has core competencies in the infrastructure, building, mining, and property development  sectors. Concor leverages these competencies and expertise to deliver major projects in rural  and urban settings. Concor has prioritised support for SMMEs and black sub-contractors within  its supply chain by utilising 30% of its project budget on black- owned sub-contractors and  service providers. This a policy that is complimentary to SP Impact Fund’s objectives as this gives access to markets for onboarded SMMEs to the SP Impact Fund.

Century Property Developments

Century Property Developments (“Century”) was established in 1975, primarily as a developer of shopping centres, and has since diversified into exclusive residential estates and commercial developments.

In each of its projects, Century has provided investors with a valuable asset of enduring quality and integrity. Century’s thorough understanding of the unique South African context and its core principles of financial feasibility and sustainability, combined with design and aesthetic vision, consistently make for sound property investment opportunities.

With its proven track record of numerous residential and commercial developments, Century continues to deliver a superior product to residents and investors alike with its uniquely South African architecture, indigenous landscaping, state-of-the-art security, green approach, proven high return on investment and family-centred lifestyle.

Century is one of Capitall’s most strategic implementation partners, with a long-standing relationship with Capitall’s shareholders and executives.

Mecsa Construction Company

MECSA Construction is a seasoned infrastructure and civil construction company with a rich history of more than 70 years through its technical partnership with a seasoned Portuguese construction company called Mota-Engil.  MECSA is part of the consortium currently completing the implementation of the Msikaba Bridge sister project, the Mthentu Bridge.

Since its establishment, MECSA Construction has been awarded flagship infrastructure projects to cumulative value of over R5bn.

MECSA has to fulfil the 30% minimum local spend requirement for government projects on all its projects, including the Mthentu project.  Key to this local spend is enterprise and supplier development, which targets small black-owned SMMEs in the areas of their projects.  This is where the partnership between SP Impact Fund and MECSA construction is critical.

Magarule Civil Works and Construction

Magarule Civil Works and Construction is a 100% black-owned and managed construction company. The company operates in the Building and Civil Engineering industries and is engaged as an independent contractor or in collaboration with strategic partners, in both the Public and Private sectors. In applying advanced technical and management services, the company can aid clients in creating sustainability and cost effectiveness in the projects that they undertake. Their client-centred approach is key to successful project delivery.

  • Highland Gate Golf & Trout Estate

SP Impact Fund has partnered with Magarule to provide funding and other developmental support to its sub-contractors for the above-mentioned projects.

This partnership is enabling Magarule and its subcontractors to work and obtain materials and supplies required for the above-mentioned projects with the cost effective and efficient consistency required in the construction industry.
